Love blog frog! I've been posting in a message board for years, probably since early 2006 or so, and recently it's just kinda died. There is a little activity on there, but not like it used to be. I found blogfrog awhile back as I was reading cjane's blog. She had her own community and I started reading and sometimes commenting. Since then, I've branched out and started reading and commenting in more and more communities! Some more than others, but there are so many great ones out there! Sometimes the topics are more serious, but most of the time, they are just fun! My SIL's Leslie and Tonia each have their own communites too. It's a fun way to meet new people and participate in some fun discussions. I do have to warn you though, it can be addicting! You can get advice on pretty much anything, parenting, blogging...anything and everything you can think of!
I recently became a community leader on the Tip Junkie forum and I love it! Laurie is so cute and fun, she always takes time to participate in the discussions and help out when she can! These communities are a great way to form friendships and get support in times of need as well. Right now, Sherry aka the redhead riter's daughter is in Intensive Care after a very serious adverse reaction to a medication. There are so many people that are praying for her all because they have developed an internet friendship with her sweet mom. I love that the communities I participate in are always positive. No bashing like I've seen on other message boards. Someone's always willing to help out or offer words of encouragement! So go on over and check it out! I'm sure you can find at least one community you feel you fit in with!
